Waterborne Diseases
Some types of viruses are capable surviving in contaminated water infected through the presence of pathogens from animal urine and droplet. The virus will then infect any which comes in contact or consumption of the contaminated water.
As the infection is caused by the viruses and the various pathogens within the contaminated water, it is important to note that when attempting to come in contact with such water, the virus must be dealt with. Therefore under harsh environments, it is important to:
-
boil/filter the water before drinking it,
-
wash your hands at any possible time,
-
drink bottled water when no clean is available,
-
avoid uncooked food,
-
avoid fish.
