Airborne Diseases

​Some types of viruses are capable surviving in air and thus floats around aimlessly, looking for hosts to infect. Additionally, as an infected individual breathes, they exhale viral breaths filled with viral respiratory droplets - breathing them in would a pretty bad idea. Read below to avoid catching an airborne disease.
As it is near impossible to survive without breathing, simply holding your breath the entire time would not be such a wise idea. However, it is still possible to greatly reduce the chance of getting infected by an airborne disease. For instance, you can:
  • simply stay away from a crowded area - this will reduce the chance of inhaling a great amount of viral droplets,
  • wear a mask and prevent viruses from passing into your mouth
    • additionally, this will save others the trouble, as you won't be releasing too much of your own viral breaths to others.​
